Golf Channel interview with FlightScope's CEO and Founder at the 2023 PGA Show
Amy Rogers from Golf Channel caught up with FlightScope's CEO and founder at the 2023 PGA Show. In the video, they discuss the latest updates and releases on their golf launch monitors.
The new and improved Mevo+ 2023 is the main topic of discussion. The new Mevo+ unit's battery now lasts for up to three hours. It has an improved kickstand that opens up to exactly 12 degrees, which makes the setup of the radar even easier. It now also comes with a bundle of 10 simulated golf courses, included out of the box with the Mevo+ 2023 Edition. FlightScope also launched a new PC software that Mevo+ customers are able to use. The new PC Software is included with Pro Package purchases and is $99 for Mevo+ customers that do not have the Pro Package.
The FS Multicam app received some upgrades at the 2023 PGA Show too. With this app, Mevo+ users can use multiple mobile devices to video different angles of their swing. The new augmented reality can now be used in the FS Multicam app as well. With the new AR features, users can see the trace of their shot overlaid on the video, and users can even walk around it and view it from different angles with their mobile device. The user also has the ability to choose the data they would like to have overlaid on the video.
Another exciting feature for the Mevo+ 2023 Edition is Face Impact. The launch monitor uses doppler radar, image processing and machine learning to show the user where on the face of the golf club the ball made contact with. This feature is extremely accurate and is an amazing tool to help improve any golfer's game, enhance lessons and improve the fitting experience.
