Setting Up Listener Mode with 2 iPads

FlightScope's Listener Mode is a fantastic tool for coaches to remotely view FlightScope session data while their students utilise the FS Golf App.

Here's a step-by-step guide to connect to Listener Mode using two iPads:

1. You will need to ensure both iPads have the FS Golf App downloaded with the latest firmware version.

2. Connect the student’s iPad to the unit in the FS Golf App and begin a session.

You can connect manually in the device Wi-Fi settings, or by scanning the QR code on the back of the unit.

3. Open the FS Golf App on the coach's iPad and connect to the unit. Although the coach’s iPad will be connected via Wi-Fi, it will still say ‘No Device’ as the student’s iPad connected first.

4. Activate Listener Mode on the coach’s iPad.

This can be done by selecting "Listener Mode" from the available sessions on the FS Golf App.

5. Connect to the student's session.

The coach's iPad will display a list of active FlightScope devices that are in Listener Mode range. Select the student's FlightScope unit from the list to connect and view real-time launch data on the coach's iPad. The unit is identified by its IP Address.
